We Begin in 1960
The company was founded in 1960 by George Bezdan. In the early years, George mainly served customers in the institutional market by selling a variety of architectural specialties including bleachers, gym dividers, and security lockers. This proved to be labour-intensive with long hours spent on the road, ensuring installations were done correctly and to his customers’ satisfaction.
George grew tired of the travel and long periods away from home and family. An entrepreneur and problem-solver, he saw an opportunity with business owners who struggled to find the right products. He continued with the simple idea of connecting manufacturers to markets and discovered unique products that could be made readily available at a fair price. The company soon focused on selling primarily architectural railing products and developing its clientele of metal fabricators.
